# CCIP v2.0.0 IGetCCIPAdmin API Reference

`IGetCCIPAdmin` defines an interface for retrieving a token’s CCIP administrator address.

This interface is a read-only hook for exposing token-level CCIP administrative authority.

If you implement this interface, you declare the address that controls CCIP-related administration for the token.

> This interface defines functions implemented by protocol contracts and is not typically used directly by applications.

## Usage Boundary

**You typically do not call this interface directly.**

- `TokenAdminRegistry` and related CCIP infrastructure query this interface to determine token-level administrative authority.
- You implement this interface when your token needs to expose a dedicated CCIP admin address.
- You are responsible for ensuring the returned address accurately reflects the entity authorized to manage CCIP configuration.

### getCCIPAdmin

```

Returns:

| --------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `address` | Address with authority over CCIP-related configuration for this token. |

## Notes

- This interface does not enforce how the admin address is determined.
- Implementations define the source of truth for CCIP administrative authority.
- This interface assumes a single canonical CCIP admin address for the token.
- Returning an incorrect address can grant CCIP administrative control to the wrong entity.
